Skopelos is an island of the Northern Sporades, south of Skiathos. It is an unspoilt place, densely forested and surrounded by crystal clear waters. It boasts many beautiful beaches, some that are sandy and others that are covered in small round pebbles. Many visitors to the island claim it is the epitome of what makes Greece great as a holiday destination: unspoilt island life, unpretentious food and accommodation, quiet beaches, walks through green, mountainous interiors and a complete removal from the stresses of modern life.
Must-see Sights In Skopelos
Milia is considered by many to be one the most beautiful beaches of Skopelos. It has an exotic vibe due to its clear, blue-green waters and the small, round, white pebbles that cover it.
An extremely beautiful complex of many small bays. A little challenging to swim in, due to the extreme geological profile, but perfect for fishing.
